well, it's easy. animecards are shit because they're hard, they lack context and no one has ever gotten good using them. sentence cards are shit because they take forever to complete your daily reviews but there are many people who got gud by doing them. and there are targeted sentence cards that take the speed of word cards and combine it with the effectiveness of in-context learning, which makes them the best cards
