Ayaka Sajyou was nothing like Shirou. Her personality was more like Rin. She would have been a full magus, no broken anything, no UBW.
Rin was more like Mitsuzuri at the time. The Archer that she summoned was Gilgamesh, not future-Ayaka. She was to be the final boss of sorts.

And while she's cute, she looks bland as fuck.

The original story of Fate/Stay Night that Nasu wrote in his high school days used a female protagonist named Ayaka Sajyou. She summoned a male King Arthur in the war.

The main villains were Tohsaka Rin and her Servant, Gilgamesh.
