These are my favorite doujin music groups.
Granted, I liked Alstroemeria better around the time of Fragment Reactions, but still...
I guess I'm not welcome on /jp/ anymore? Later nerds, I'll be enjoying sick 2hu wubs.

It's funny that you say that. I thought the McTrance of 2012 was McTrance.
"Brostep" is quickly infecting every genre, but if you pull up whatever the "big" 5 pop songs are at the moment, I'll bet most of them just sound like more quickly progressing trance songs to me, "wasp sound" and all.

I get what you're saying. Honestly, I like these doujin dubstep/electro groups *because* most of them do more interesting songs than the average dubstep producer, but even I'm getting tired of cookie-cutter brostep and have been trying to get into more traditional dubstep.

As a fan of both genres, I don't really get people trying to claim that breakcore is more sophisticated or pleasant to listen to than dubstep, though. It's so fucking ironic when someone complains about how horrible dubstep is ("Is this even music? How can you enjoy this?") then proceeds to put on a generic breakcore beat with 3-4 weeaboo songs stitched together and a few HILARIOUS anime soundclips thrown on top. I thought we were united in liking cheap, trashy, unsophisticated, "acquired taste" music.
