Some of SEGA's choices (such as forcing the English dub when it's clearly poorly implemented) were pure fucking shit for advertising purposes. If this was my first experience with the Yakuza franchise I'd be iffy as fuck on getting into it. At least it somewhat picked up by the middle and remained steady until the end. Very weak beginning though, first half an hour was seriously boring and I only stuck around for Mori.

7/10 stream: 5 points to Mori and tonight I learned that she's aware of armpitfags. 2 points to SEGA for choosing to advertise the game with a chapter where you constantly beat the shit out of chinks, mock their underground criminals as inferior to the yakuza, going as far as to say nobody born out of China would ever want to learn an ugly language like Chinese, and generally treat them like shit. That was pretty based. If you're still interested in Yakuza after this, start with 0.
