I'm a rather slow learner but I'm fine with it because I'm probably not going to die any time soon. I've been learning for approximately a year and I'm close to finishing N3 vocabulary wise. I can read games, manga, visual novels and some light novels as well so the learning is pretty fun at this point.

As a kid I started learning English because I wanted to play video games and watch cartoons.
You don't need some important reason like wanting to go to Japan in order to learn a language and it's only natural I'll learn a language so I could continue to enjoy content that's not available to me.

I don't understand what you are trying to do though, if you aren't interested then just leave the thread. Sticking around here just feels like you are waiting for someone to convince you because you're too insecure to start learning by yourself.
