yea no, she is a typical poster heroine but her relevance within the overall story isn't big enough to be labeled as the main heroine. maybe of the near side, but there is a reason why the story is split into two sides more than ever with the remake. besides, merch/spinoff is a lame example, of course she will be advertised the most since she is the most popular character in tsukihime bar none. using popularity, and merch is dumb when you consider the fact that the main character of tsukihime has yet to receive any sort of figures, plushies, etc whereas characters with almost zero relevance to blue glass like akiha is getting stuff. tsukihime is a franchise aimed at the otaku, arc just happened to the most marketable, and waifu bait character with her whole arc ceasing to function without the mc. regardless, the spin-off argument probably doesn't apply anymore considering nasu himself mentioned that he has yet to tell everything about ciel normal, meaning that he is considering extra materials for that route. ultimately arc is just a fragment of the whole narrative, a what if. arc will get her true, or whatever nasu is cooking for her but what is awaiting us next is probably a 70/80h visual novel focusing on everything involving the mansion, and shiki's childhood. not arc stuff. in short cope and seethe arcfags, nasu's magnum opus will be rg and it will have approximately 2 minutes of arc screen time (coincidence? i think not)

not sure how that could be included within the story, but if nasu doesn't include some throwback to red demon god/a full kiri appearance in red garden, i would consider that a massive miss opportunity. if not for red garden, i'm guessing the last chance for kiri to get an appearance would be melty?
