I encourage anyone interested at all in Nicovideo to watch at least a couple medleys if for some reason you haven't already. Skyscraper gets to draw not only on a rich source of music, but has visually incorporated a ton of the derivative work and parodies that the original works spawned over the years. You can really feel the history.
