I like Rika actually getting a Satoko who sees the entire situation around them, rather than just having the perspective of a single fragment, with Rika's bond with her being completely one sided.

Still, yes, this kind of development automatically shafts everyone else. Even with Meguri bringing up the club more often than late Gou/Sotsu, it's still obvious Rika/Satoko's connection is different from their club bonds.

Rika can spend years without dropping by Hinamizawa apparently and in Rei she doesn't seem to particularly care for Satoko and hasn't even mentioned Sakiko, so probably not.

To be fair, it's not Rika saying that bit about family.

On the other hand, alongside all the Lambda/Bern references they included the Lambda/Bern speech in the Sotsu finale -but- removed the line about lovers. So, yeah, it's clear they didn't want to expressly acknowledge romantic feelings in spite of making so many allusions to a romantic relationship.

>It's part of her character, a constant.
Eh, we don't know that though. We saw one Satoko like that and she was the constant jumping between different worlds going after Rika (whose actions were said to be a constant due to her looping trauma), not Rika jumping between worlds and different Satokos always obsessed with her.

If anything I'd argue the opposite. The only way their bond doesn't break apart at some point is if Satoko actually becomes a looper in a quest to go after Rika (well, Mei seems to present a scenario where that doesn't happen with no looping, but it also involves a bunch of third parties). Otherwise their differences and Rika's passiveness will just make them drift away eventually, with nothing to hold onto.
