the likleyhood of fusing is low, but will increase with lower quality TPE and depending on the silicone type.
Most pumps can dry out a hole within a few hours, and leaving it overnight is typical.

prolonged contact for 1 week produces minimal deformation.

sortof but it needs prolonged contact and depends wildly on the formula of each. In practice its mostly irrelevant.
A lot of the TPE/silicone hybrids have hard silicone blends that dont interact with the TPE as well.

short answer is no, you cannot layer silicone and TPE.

the body/head combo does work though, just because its not a hard contact area(head is semi-suspended above the joint)
