That's why she's isolated herself in the bamboo forest, and won't even talk to the people she rescues from youkai. She doesn't want to get close to anyone.

She's opened her heart to Keine though, and is terrified of the thought of losing her.

Thinking about Mokou and Keine makes me so sad.

Mokou won't even talk to the people she rescues in the bamboo forest. She must be afraid of getting close to anyone, because she wouldn't want to lose them like she's lost everyone else.

But even though she's tried to isolate herself, she'd still become very close to Keine. Losing Keine might be too much for her.

I'd really like to see a doujin about Mokou fighting Komachi and Yama for Keine's soul. Sort of like Orpheus traveling to the underworld to get his wife back. But instead of singing Mokou would be kicking ass.

I wrote a bullying awareness story about Touhou.

Reimu Hakurei was the shrine maiden at Hakurei shrine and it was her job to stop youkai when they misbehaved. But often she would use threats and violence to get her way instead of peaceful arbitration. Eventually she would threaten youkai who weren't even doing anything, just for fun! The youkai became afraid of Reimu and her bullying, but they didn't know what to do. So they went to the wisest and most grown-up youkai of them all, Yuuka.

"Yuuka, what should we do?" asked the youkai. "We don't want to be bullied by Reimu anymore!"

"The only way you can make a bully stop is to stand up to them!" Yuuka said from her flower garden. "Give her a taste of her own medicine!"

The next day Rumia and Mystia were playing when Reimu stomped in and kicked dirt in their faces. "Hahahaha, you dumb youkai!" she laughed as they sputtered and spat dirt.

"We're gonna get you, Reimu!" said the duo and and threw dirt at her face. They cheered as she staggered about, thinking they'd finally stopped her. But they were wrong, and Reimu only got angrier. She punched Mystia in the face and made her cry, and grabbed Rumia by the hair and tossed her about. Storming off, she yelled, "Next time I'll kill you, you dorks!"

Yuuka's solution didn't help them, so the youkai went to the next oldest and wise youkai there was, Yukari. But she wasn't at her house and instead they found her friend Yuyuko.

Kaguya will never have a real friend like Mokou does if she insists on keeping up the princess act.

Kaguya needs to accept that she's an exile and stop treating the people closest to her like servants.

Keine doesn't actually change anything when she creates or destroys history. She just changes what people remember.

See, because history is less about stuff that actually happened and more about what people said happened. And she has the ability to influence that.

She's even better, because she was born a human, and effectively still IS a human, but with impressive youkai-level powers AND her "time-of-the-month" is actually dramatic and interesting.
