My point is that the United States would not have been attacked if it was truly neutral. On the morning of December 7th, we were already an Allied power for all intents and purposes. We had drawn a line in the sand over Indochina (which contained the fuel that Japan was seeking) while embargoing them at the same time. If that isn't "sticking their cock into everything" then I don't know what is. The fact of the matter is that war was the only option left for Japan, which now sought to pre-empt the inevitable American intervention by knocking out our Pacific fleet. If we had stayed out of the mater entirely, the issue would have never arisen and no attack would have taken place. It was not a beligerent move on the part of the Japanese, but rather a desperate one.

And no armed force that deliberately targets civilians can be called "good guys." In World War II this was standard practice on all sides. I'm sure the old women who drowned/burned to death in molten asphalt on the streets of Dresden wouldn't have very kind things to say about their American saviors.

There is something religious about all this, isn't it? Pure, unconditional love and compassion. Mai waifu.

Do you love your waifu, I mean really love her? Do you smile whenever you think about her? Do you feel happy knowing that while she doesn't exist physically, at least she exists as a fictional character?

I do.
