Is it good?

Just finished this, it was really great. I have a few questions though,
Who was the extra life reading that they kept referring to at the end of the routes? Was it supposed to be BW? I doubt it because they said it only picks up human readings at 98.7f or whatever, so now I'm just confused.

Who was the one who kicked the can in secret? Especially when Shounen shows up and everyone's like "Wait if you're here then who's counting?"

i just finished the final ending of EVER17 after some days of playthrought
boy i wonder why i didn't read it sooner, it was probably one of the best stories i've ever read

i absolutely loved the blick winkel 4th wall thing and how i got tricked in believing who were the real main characters
no really, i broke my jaw when hokuto saw himself in the mirror
i was astonished since i was all that time believing i was ryogo from 2017
same thing for the "real" and "fake" takeshi thing
also i kinda know not many people like tsugumi but her romance was really beautiful. Kids? Holy shit i love dem kids, dat chami and dat tsugumi
too bad i didn't quite like coco's voice and the fact she's supposed blick winkel's romance. Well coco i like you but not in that way, but i guess it's okay since i got to read this fuckawesome story

another thing that maybe i didn't like were the long-ass explanations about the really complicated stuff, i guess i'm an idiot who just wanted to get only what was necessary

Hello /jp/, I'm interested in playing Ever17 and I've found several (shitty) download links for the English version published by Hirameki and the jp release. I'd like to know which to go with, as I've heard bad things about the Hirameki release and I can't seem to find any details on 3rd party english patch.

Advice would be great.

Goddamn, I finished Coco's route in Ever17 more than a month ago and yet I STILL think about how mind blowing it was.

What's more is that every time I reminisce about the plot, I realize something new I never caught before and that adds even more depth to the story and characters.

Let me just list some examples that popped into my mind (Obviously major spoilers):

Sara's hair and how it relates to her being Tsugumi's daughter: A less observant player might not even notice this, but I caught onto it and thought the similarities of their bangs was just coincidence, or maybe even similar character design. I shat a brick when I realized that it was one of the more subtle hints of their shared genetics.

The reason you never see your face in the CGs? It would spoil the fact that you don't actually look like the "Takeshi" or "Kid" that you're seeing. Also, I thought the whole graffiti on Takeshi's face and the fact that you never see it was just played for humor, then realized that it would also spoil the plot if you actually did see it.

What I know:

coco end is supposedly shit bricks.
"why is she in a washing machine"

And that's about it.

Is there a recommended order for endings that I should attempt, or should I simply just "go with it"

I just finished my first VN, Ever17. It was fucking awesome, especially the twists in the True Ending route. Did not see those coming.

What are some other VN's I should check out? I already downloaded Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night...saw the animes for both of them when they aired but most of it is a hazy memory to me. I am gonna start Tsukihime tonight

Never thought this game would have so much bullshit physics.

I keep seeing those recommended visual novels pics/baby's first/etc, but keep forgetting to save them, anyone mind posting them?

Never7, Remember11, and Ever17 are all part of the same series, right? So is there one you're supposed to start with? Which one is it?

Why was a supposedly "professional" translation vastly inferior to the average fan-translation patch? (I mean, seriously, "Naturally, I knows the hacker"? "Tooling test"? Using a blatantly obvious find-and-replace that occasionally turned "you that" into "Kidat"?) I guess I applaud Hirameki (or at least its dead, rotting corpse) for trying to get VNs to English-speaking audiences, but if all their work was like this...no wonder they went bankrupt.

More relevantly...is anyone working on making it better? Or hell, even translating the other Infinity games?
