Damn, if someone did this to me I'd literally destroy his room. One thing is that these things have sentimental value, but they also aren't really cheap and often has collectionner value.
Fortunately no one cared in my case. My mom didn't wanted me to get a daki, but she didn't do anything about it once I got one regardless. And the consequent roommates were all weebs and nerds so they did not care at all.
