Just because he is not getting any symptoms doesn't mean that it's not deterimental to his health, in fact the early stages of alcoholic liver disease (steatosis) are asymptomatic. It is very likely that ZUN has a fatty liver.

Again, liver failure is not the only thing he's at risk for, alcohol can affect ANY body system. Also most cases of cirrhosis happen around the age of 45 which is not very old, i think you're being too hopeful.
