What if the reason we're paranoid autists is because the erased memories are attempting to bleed through as if they were repressed instead of wiped? Surely the MGE type waifuism has physical/psychological effects that a memory wipe can't solve. It's no secret that a monster develops an attachment with a husbando so great that going with someone else becomes a physical impossibility, and even if one died the other would go to any hell to get him/her back.

Surely if a MG in MGE was separated from her husbando for an extended period of time he/she would not behave normally either. Perhaps the reason we're so desperately craving for a waifu isn't because we want one but never had one, but because we had one we don't remember about and want to return to her instead.

I know she was literally fucked up and I know Theodore had to kill her to prove loyalty to those outside the squad (and likely due to not having staff just to guard her) but damn do I wish she could have just been cared for and healed in the end.
