I don't know, i just find doing it to be fun, I guess because I know what I will get if I put in the hard work and just do it for now
one motivation is I wanted to start a long time ago, did it a little, then stopped, that was like 3 years ago, and thinking back about how i'd be really far into the language if I hadn't quit, it sort of makes me want to make up for lost time
I'm still looking for recommendations on when I can play some games, someone in /vn/ said I can do it anytime, as long as I use a parser and mine the words I don't know
but wouldn't that just end up with me mining every single word in every single sentence basically?
another anon in the /int/ /djt/ thread also said he would recommend doing reading early on, since even though it is slow, you learn better when you learn words with context, rather than just flashcards, is there any truth to this?
