I was thinking this.

We can assume anything that happens outside the game board and doesn't involve magic and witches is real, right?

If so, both Kanon and Shannon are acknowledged outside of the game board; Kanon at Jessica's school festival, by her classmates, and Shannon by Eva, when she tells her to stay away from George.

Of course it could be that Shannon was actually Kanon, and that is why Eva is so against them being together (and not only because she's a servant).
