By the way, would anyone be interested in non-DoTR first contact scenarios? I want a writefag manticore inspired by a few fanarts I've seen of her, that doesn't realize she's a total dork due to her predatory abilities being neutered by living in the (relatively) modern MGC, and anon rattle off with her about their special interests with the Mamano version of MGE that's about Earth and anon who is a history buff/armchair politician. I think it would be cute to have a fail-top paired with a power-bottom. I also want to have these two dorks who never actually interacted with the other sex/species frequently to realize a lot about each other since I really like the idea of getting into the brains of how Mamano operate as humans (because really they're more human than most actual humans).

By the Chief God my shit is autistic. Hopefully that rubs off on the characters, but Jesus introducing a Mamano into the real world is a cringefest when the Anon protag already knows about MGE. Gonna have to rewrite most of the first interaction and I honestly have no idea where the story is gonna go from there.
