It was done before the Remake, which is how I knew it looked cool. I still think that nuAkiha's colors are vastly inferior, though. The new outfit is so drab and boring - like a generic peasant's idea of what a "rich girl" would look like. Of course they had to do something different - I imagine Nasu or Takeuchi were bothered that Akiha wore red despite hating the color, but the new outfit is just a black and white variant of Artoria's. And the new school uniform, while having some more unique colors, just isn't as good as the old white/blue one.

But isn't Fate/Stay Night too long for a beginner? Although if Tsukihime didn't have that visual style it would surely fit in as a recommendation for beginners. Maybe when the remake shows up, I guess (here's hoping that someone other than Mirror Moon will pick up the project)

You can start from any of them, everyone says you should begin with Tsukihime because it's better , but as they aren't really related you can decide on your own.
