I just finished Canaan after reading 428 and it was great, but very flawed. Alphard was amazing and so was the story around her with Canaan and Siam, but it would have been even better if it went into more depth with them and the rest of the anime's bullshit was cut. I didn't care for the cast that weren't them and I hated how the 428 characters were butchered in this. If this connected to 428 better I would like it more.

Has anyone here seen it? How well regarded is Canaan by TM fans?

Also fuck that very last part of the ending, saying that Canaan would fight Alphard again just like that
