It’s one thing to be bad at APEX and not take it very seriously, but it’s another to sacrifice collabs (she canceled her collab with Tamaki a month ago to play APEX) and other games for it and still be incredibly bad. She even talks about APEX on her twitter and in her twitcasts.

She doesn’t play on the community servers (Minecraft, etc.) and barely has any meaningful interaction with her fellow coworkers. Reaching out to indies and branching out is a good thing, but if that means ignoring the community you’re a part of, I feel it becomes more damaging than helpful.
Matsuri has no niche within Hololive. There’s nothing she can do that someone else can’t do better. Her only real sales pitch is her personality, which unfortunately for me, isn’t enough to carry her content at this point.

I’ve been a tier two member for the last 6 months, but at this point, supporting her makes me feel like I’m doing it out of pity rather than because I genuinely love to watch her. If the collabs start coming back and APEX begins to fizzle, I might rejoin, but as of now, I’m a nousagi.

I can’t believe a video game addiction ruined my chuba.
