The problem with the anime is how condensed is the information there, is not a bad adaptation at all but you will miss a lot of information, stories, background, the past of some characters that aren't present in the anime.

Basically you have these 2 options:
1. watch the anime then see how many info was cut
2. read the LN and then watch the anime as a way to see those scenes animated.
