That's pretty sad, how long were you doing this for and for how many threads at a time?

Upcoming blog.

I was in your position for a while earlier this year during summer vacation. A NEET between college semesters, ignoring the VN I was reading and operating at a glacial pace on everything else.

By the final month I realized that I had just squandered 70% of my summer vacation on stupid shit and I realized that I wasn't going to even get the common route of the VN done before the end of the year at my pitiful pace. So I mojo'd up on that shit, dropped all the stupid vidya and anime backlog I was working on and focused on just reading that damn VN everyday and mining words from it. Every single day, ignoring time for cleaning my room and surviving off instant frozen food (because cooking takes time), dedicating every single hour of my waking time to Japanese.

I'm just a beginner to reading so by the end of the month when college had started again I had only knocked out the common route and two routes. But I'm glad I did it because I managed to mine 5000+ new words in the process and gain the confidence to continue reading VNs every day even if I had to slow my pace down due to schoolwork.
