Its not really alone about balanced dosages but how much you drink and drinking 0,5l of vodka bottle mixed or not is still worse to your tolerance and body than like 8-10 0,33l beers and even smaller vodka bottle like 0,35l is on par with it but its still smaller amount of liquid so its far faster to drink too which can be really bad to liver or tolerance wise but of course you can mix like 0,05l to liter of non alcoholic stuff and drink that for hour but that wont make you tipsy either. Nothing wrong with vodka really but its quite common to rush your drunken state to the point where you just fall a sleep or such, or i could be just bad mixer or i start to be one after few drinks. Also tolerance rises easily to the point that low alcohol drinks like beer wont do jackshit unless you drink several in really short time. But everyone like what they like, no really reason to argue why x drink is better than y when it is matter of taste, so do you like anything with lower alcoholic value or is strong or mixed stuff all you drink?

Well there is no really reason to restrain yourself with reasoning "its bad for you" considering you gonna die anyway sooner or later. It wont really hurt to take some now and then either, considering some of alcoholic drinks have health benefits as long as they are taken in moderation.

well i just mentioned that in general moderation is way to go, then there is people who can't practice it efficently for reason or another, every addiction can be won but there is no going back for moderation for most people.
