Literally means "literal'

For example: "I am literally dying" would mean I am actually in the process of dying

"Figuratively" means "I'm not REALLY dying, but I am using hyperbole to make my point"

Of course, usually when Anons say "I am literally dying" they are actually just figuratively dying, but are literally just exaggerating in order to garner more emphasis on their statement than they would have by writing "figuratively"
