There are, several important details to note.
Omake has no concept of equipment caps. That is, you can push that enchant value as high as you want. Before the first balance patch, it was even worse, because enchantment strength would also increase indefinitely, resulting in equipment that would break stat limit just by existing. The helm in attached pic raises speed by 41k, and perception by 2.6k. It was found in the black vendor after investment level 2 billion.

So people decided to turn their efforts towards multiplying money. But they already had something for that. Mani Material Mining, basically abusing Mani's Deconstruction, a Mine Dog, and a Shelter to farm infinite materials for use in crafting. People testing the MMM found that generally it was around 4m gold/10 minutes, and over time that would increase as the selling process became more efficient.

To reset the merchants, they would use the Shelter Time Machine, while conveniently setting up a Hungry Ghost Bath. The former would accelerate time to force resets (and do a whole lot of other things), while the latter would allow the character (or pet characters) to get constantly hungry.

Thing is, fluffy bread is easy to produce and easy to bless in stacks. So basically they could use it with Kumiromi Blessed Food (pre prepared) to completely replace potions of potential.

If they needed levels? Use potions of descent (craftable).
If they needed to break the stat limit? Buy alchemy boost gear, fuse potions, drink them to get an extra 2k or so in all stats (for several thousand turns). This was *easily* doable even at a low level, because potion fusion was intended to be broken. Even without alchemy boost gear and only a low level in alchemy, if you were patient enough you could mass fuse +30 pots and get 500-600 points in speed for a couple hundred turns.
