Obviously using a fast CTF gimps my main fleet somewhat, but the alternative would drop my pass rate from 90% to 50%, which is way too expensive when I've been out of fuel for a week.

I don't think this has been an issue, CVCIs usually proc. But I'll try in a couple days when I've recovered some fuel.

I don't have a third Murata, and locked my only Zuihou to E4. It would just be Junyou with a Tomonaga.

I would if I wasn't constantly out of fuel. It doesn't stop the boss fight from requiring great RNG, it just gives me a 50% chance of getting taiha'd by subs.

She's already holepunched with a lookout, and reaches night cap with her current setup. Another torp would do nothing.

If I wasn't using a fast fleet, I'd bring my married Gotland for 2 slot OASW, with big searchlight and a flare.

I can't do that, because I was in this exact situation during Atlanta's event, getting stupidly close but never clearing on Hard. I need the radar for reliable AACI.
