Alright, sirs. I have a confession to make (again; I have shared these thoughts before but consider this a reminder)

This was one of the first images I ever saw of Ichika Matsumoto. We all know the saying "first impressions last", yes? Well, this GIF and the side profile specifically informed a very particular impression that has lasted; I never saw the duck resemblance because to me, the shape and protrusion of her lips here far more closely resemble that of a baby rhino instead.

I have kept this to myself because I didn't want to ruin anybody's fun but this has been weighing down on my heart for a long time. I have even publicly referred to her as "the duck" on this forum on numerous occasions in order to fit in but deep inside, I knew I was lying to myself. Over time, this guilt must have manifested itself in reality. When I saw she had affixed a pronounced, horn-like point to her nose by means of plastic surgery, I was horrified; it was as if the Universe itself was telling me to no longer be dishonest with myself — to face the truth and to share it freely with others.

The Universe works in mysterious ways. I can no longer live this lie lest she undergoes further changes to become a rhinoceros. You can blame me, curse me, but know that for the first time in a long time, I am being real not only with myself but also with you all. It's the least I can do.

That's right: the Duck, to me, was a Baby Rhino all along.

I am so sorry.
