Sorry for going AWOL, just finished using this for the second time.

Short version: hard holes are better.
Long version: This hole is not only harder than the others, it's also firmer, giving my 8'er some extra sensation. Due to the materials, it also absorbs heat better, as I gradually went out and pushed back in, it got warmer. It also kept me right at the tip of the opening for easy insertion and a nice pop when you pull out and a lot easier to clean. Overall, I may stick with harder holes for the time being. I'll post my other holes when I wake up. I'd say this is the best hole I've had since my very first one.

Nah, if it's soft you shouldn't notice a difference when using it.

On another note, I'm getting this by Sunday. How does the hard holes fare in comparison to the normal/soft holes?
