And they say Nasu doesn't copy his own characters.

Have you never watched a theatrical play?

Last week I watched a show about Nasu.

It started with him wandering through Japan into a Bible study class. He talked about how when he was but a young college student in the 70s he fell under the spell of a radical street preacher with shaved head and giant flowing beard. He told Nasu "to understand the Bible, you must live the Bible", so Nasu shaved his head and followed the path of the Apostle Paul to Greece. There he was fondly remembered because he flew the flag of Japan under the military regime. Afterward he returned home to Japan to teach Greek and translate the Bible. The infomercial ended with a plea to Christians to restore purity to Japan and peace between all religions.
