That must've been Koibito Tsunagi which is a favorite of mine, it's so well done that I can't help but recommend it (kaori-i_dvd_01&2 are equally good). Kaolyrical is the usual 2ch recommendation if you're looking for a more traditional IV though.

While we're on the subject of IVs, how were those rips coming along?
