Dandy Girl discussion.

I was wondering something. In the VN Mark makes an analogy of person X killing person Y (IT'S USELESS! IT'S ALL USELESS!) and adjusting the timeline. Does that mean Julie killed the woman who was going to be Mark's assistant in the past, and took her place? Or was there no one in her position, to being with?

Also, Julie hid her identity because she was afraid of Mark finding out who she was and being turned off by how much older she'd gotten? I know they mentioned the Time Police, but they never gave an in-depth explanation.
