From what Maki herself has said she just sees this as her getting back into her groove, her own solo return and what have you, she just seems really happy to be doing this again instead of bawwing like a bitch, haven't heard anything about her expectations or goals. As for Max, I don't know. Avex did move Maki away from Rhythm Zone; so "Sweet Black" is still on that sub-label but "Maki Goto" is on Avex Trax proper, they are backing her move towards the "return to classic j-pop derpity herp" or whatever they were saying about ONE.
I don't know about other releases this week, my intrest in japanese music (that ends up high on the charts) is very small. Hopefully there's fuckall coming out.

I didn't feel a need to put lots of effort into protecting my identity, as you said quite a few threads ago I'm already well-footed in some other communities and making myself "invisible" would have required severe changes in my presences there. A new OOO48 group is announced. [NMB48] in Namba, Osaka. They are signed to Yoshimoto Creative Agency, which are most know for their comedians. Their theatre will be either Yoshimoto Hall Osaka or Base Yoshimoto. The final audition is on 20 September, and their theatre debut is planned for November.
