Constantly obnoxiously advertising your 'retranslation' nobody cares about is one thing. But misinforming people is intolerable.

The staff room IS ONLY IN HIGURASHI KAI. Higurashi 1-4 has the whatsitcalled where the cast discusses the episode with each other, Kai (5-8) has the staff room with Ryukishi talking about stuff (see picture). BOTH ARE INCLUDED IN MANGAGAMER'S RELEASES. Furthermore, the music patch restores ALL music, even the music that was cut away. The tracks repeated where different tracks are used in the original are duplicated inside the original files - basically, the references to the files are intact, they were just replaced with the exact same music file two or three times. It was possible to just reinsert the music at the proper places and the script was already configured to play the different tracks at their proper locations.

The only issue that Higurashi has that isn't solved by patches is the terrible editing in episodes 1-4; there was once a project called 'editorashi' to fix this, but I'm not sure if it ever went anywhere.
