Otherwise Aya would have you stay at home, in the nest, with the intention of keeping you as a house husband, would probably be really patronizing about how dumb she thinks you are and casually dismiss any suggestions of you going out "you'll get kidnapped you know?". Aya would want to spend more time with you, but also knows that if she's not out and about, other Tengu will start asking questions, so it's a constant struggle for her to keep up both lives.
The ultimate endgame is to have you so busy raising her children that you don't have time for anything else but family. Aya's a smart bird after all.
