In this version of the ending, Keiichi is stabilizing and recovering due to meeting Shion. He says he removed it because Shion dying too with Keiichi as the lone survivor, giving his words to a reporter had more impact. The final Tatarigoroshi ending was inspired by Blair Witch Project.
