Inheritance has a lot of exemptions and is barely taxed because that's how a lot of rich people get their money and they rewrote the laws so they wouldn't have to pay taxes.

It was taxed at a much higher rate just a couple decades ago.

Ironically income from a regular job is taxed the highest out of any other form of income (something like 33% on average).

Not that I'm one of those political people with a strong opinion on the matter but it is one of those things you'd have to be blind to not see.
