jisho marks ピンク as a common word but not 桃色
the only time i saw 桃色 used commonly was in machikado mazoku with momo.
i guess there is a nuance is that if something is specifically peach-pink then you'd used 桃色, but 桃色 is itself just a shade of ピンク which is the general word.
it guess like how saying something is red is more common than saying it's scarlet which a lot of people would also just say is red.
