lol ok they're Shinto/Buddhist, like 96% of all Japanese people. They even had a Shinto priest (and giant fox mascot) at their release of the Megitsune single.

They're only copying/doing a tribute to older metal bands who were only using "Satanic" imagery to boost their record sales in the 80s during the whole Satanic Scare in murrca at the time.
