As a former member of said "youth" I can attest to this.
I've graduated high school last year and am now in college, and I have little trouble accepting that statistic. My only evidence, sadly, is what I hear from my supposed "peers." It seems that all they talk about lately is drugs (marijuana mostly) and sex, and while it's more often the former than the latter; those two things being all they talk about adds up to an excessive amount of talk of sex. Even in the library at our community college I hear former classmates muttering on and on with one another about their sexual promiscuity. Even the girls seem to have no problem talking with the guys that are not their "partners" about when, where, why, and how often they have sex.

It's disgusting, frankly. Savages.
