Big deal, event is in 3months time. We are talking about normal maps right now and Taiyou helps a ton especially in K2 form where she can bring a recon plane and doesn't even need to gimp her shelling ability like DD to go full ASW.
Lets look at the stuff you do monthly.
1-5 - Taiyou+3
2-5 - Abukuma+5
3-5 - 1CL 5DD
4-5 - 3CA 3CV
5-5 - 2BB is enough
6-5 - 1BB needed
And if you are doing your weekly like 4-4 and 5-2, you only need at most 1BB for either map. There are more BB than CVL in the game right now so making them stronger at the expense of a unique ability is a hard sell for me.
