Not all altchans end up like that. The key to the survival of an altchan or any new imageboard is to avoid becoming just another 4chan clone with a gimmick or an arbitrary rule, and live long enough to develop its own culture.

Not him, but I personally still browse some 4chan boards regularly... just not /jp/. For me /jp/ died on December 23rd 2020 (Those who know, know), and it only got worse since then. I only come here from time to time and when it comes to my otaku-touhou-whatever related needs that /jp/ used satisfy, well, nowadays I go to altchans for that.

Future hololive JP gens should have 3 members each. This way they'll be able to keep on hyping new members every once in a while, but it'll keep the list of talents from expanding too fast into Niji levels and it'll help to preserve the supportive family atmosphere of hololive.

It's really dumb for the guide to assume you have Prinz/Ducky/SCAMPs/etc when talking about what to upgrade, since the people who would want advice wouldn't have any of those things in the first place. If you've been playing long enough to have them and still don't know what to do you should be scuttling yourself anyway.

A newbie guide shouldn't assume you have event-only ships from over 6 months ago, it should just assume ships regularly obtainable in-game.
