You'll just be alone for yet another year, except this time it'll hit you so much worse because your 30th birthday signifies so much in terms of growing up, leaving things behind, settling into your place in life, etc.

So you'll grasp on to these silly delusions - the 'wizard' thing is just a meme nowadays by the way, no better than most /a/ shit - in the hope that you can turn the whole thing into a big ironic joke, that if you take it lightheartedly its true impact will be shielded from your psyche for -- how long? Another year? Another decade? And what do you become when you're 40? When you're getting too old for it to be funny anymore?
