This is TJ's debut album and the only one with "Phase 1" Jihen. Honestly, it's a train wreck, and I mean that in the best way possible. The songs, while lightyears ahead of the material on Variety in the songwriting department, are marred with so many poor choices in production that it can get a little painful to listen to at times. Also, I've never liked Mikio Hirama as a guitarist and think his compositions sound amateurish most of the time, but that's neither here nor there. However, this still is a very good album with many Tokyo Jihen staples and one of my favorites, "Genjistu wo Warau", it just doesn't stand up very well against the rest of the Ringo catalogue. Also, vocal filters. Up the ass. I'm not kidding.
