Well, "know". I was surprised at how little they actually cared.
They were a bit weirded out by it, but since I told them that it is not a sex toy (however that would work), they don't really care.

Whenever I get asked why I have one (rarely ever happens, only when someone wants to see my room in video meetings), I tell them that I need it so I don't lie on my CGM sensor during the night. I'm a type 1 diabetic, so that excuse usually also gets people to shut up, because they don't know about it enough and don't want to ask medical questions.
That's not even a lie, funnily enough, just not the real reason why I have a daki. Most people also think I have some sort of mental illness (pretty sure I'm autistic, but undiagnosed), so they just let the issue go.

As you might have guessed, people don't talk to me very often - especially not about my personal life.
I'm "that weird guy" in the IT department, that not even the other geeks know much about.
Sentiment around the office is that if you have a technical question, you ask me, and that's it. Don't even bother asking for an explaination or smalltalk, you wouldn't get it either way. I like it that way, and my coworkers seem fine with that as well.

I work from mostly from home, so naturally almost no one knows, besides family. And even for them, my room is usually off limits. They respect that, too.

I thought you actually meant the sakura miku. I took a picture of the unavailble one for you (used it for an entire year, before I got another one, that's why it's so worn out).
However, ADP is very pricy and also quite low quality in my opinion - none of my other dakis got this bad, even after years of use. I won't buy anything from there anymore. Also, the art is pretty bad.
