So I just finished the game again and got what is supposedly the canonical ending this time.

So after the whole game when Ion and Nelo are finally convinced that they have a place in that world with friends that care about them, all of the sudden: "lol you can totally go back without killing everyone, just scream at god" It comes almost out of nowhere (why does player 2 know this crap) and renders character development moot.

I mean really?

Really?

Does anyone else prefer the other ending? And who wants to bet it fucks up anyway? I mean the signal cuts out before anything actually happens.

Also, no offense to Shikata, I liked この世界のあなたと、あのセカイのあなたへ but I think Ar-ciel Ar-manaf fit the ending better.
