I like her, her route has a lot of issues though. That's probably why she's not well liked.

You know what would be great? VN choices that focus on developing the character of the protagonist, rather than scripted "this or that" options to lead you into a route or a particular end.

It would be cool if, among the normal kind of choices you make, you also have a lot of "filler" conversation choices to make which flesh out your character. You'd be able to choose to say different things based on the personality of different statements, like humorous, polite, aggressive/alpha, quiet, or whatnot.

This could then work off of a "heroine preference" system which would measure your dialogue choices against the preferences of other significant characters who are present (or would hear about what you said later) and adjust how much every character liked or disliked you.

So you could choose to be a jokester and lose favor with the hard-working class rep heroine, while impressing others with a better sense of humor.
