It's pretty hard to say what is actually a retcon and what was simply a poor translation with the old profiles. For instance, I've heard it said that the original lamia profile never said that they strangled to death men who cheated on them, that was simply a mistranslation.

If you mean baphomets having sex with men and then just letting witches have them, that's not what the old profile said. It only said they often release men, but that the men end up going off with them anyway (to be their husband most likely).
