Is this a conspiracy to preserve Kongou's status as the sole bong-built, fast super-dreadnought? Then again, realistically speaking, if we assume that the foreign boats put under Japanese command are supposed to cover traditional weaknesses of the Japanese navy, the foreign ship list would basically be:

etc. Now I kinda want to see what type of titty cow a burger submarine or destroyer tender would be.
