Specifically these two points:

1. Did Reimu just turn into a youkai (or: was she a youkai this whole time?)
2. The deeper meaning behind this second exchange. It could be interpreted very differently in japanese. "Ushitora" is literally "ox-tiger", but here the kanji for the "Gon" (Gen in chinese) trigram is used, which is read "Ushitora" because it's right between the ox and the tiger in directional bearings of the zodiac.

"Gen" as a trigram represents, among other things, the yin-yang, a symbol recurring a lot in the orient, as well as in Touhou Project. It could also represent "stopping", "transition", and "rebirth", as it is located in the period between light and dark.

When Reimu asks Yukari where she lives, Yukari replies "same as you", but in isolation this phrasing could easily mean "We're the same, you and I".

She then says she lives in the border of Gensokyo. The edge of "Gon".

Reimu remarks that it's like the "Kimon", which literally means "oni's gate". It is commonly believed in taoist divination that the onis come from northeastern direction, and thus this direction is "bad luck".
